How do I get Cat to get along with my dog?

Many families accept that keeping a cat and dog together is part and parcel of a normal household; other families would not dream of keeping both pets together. Some breeds, such as terriers, which retain strong hunting instincts, are likely to cause more problems.

To integrate a cat or dog into your household in the shortest time, without any bloodshed.

Training Steps:

1. If you introduce a puppy and kitten they will accept each other from the beginning, with the kitten merely hissing at the puppy a few times to show who is boss.
   
2. If your dog has been used to cats, or the kitten has been brought up with a family dog, there should be few problems. However, they should not be left together unsupervised until you are confident they have reached a mutual understanding.
   
3. It is important to be aware that there is a greater risk of injury to either dog or cat, so close supervision is essential.
