How Much to Feed Cat?

The following guide is based on canned cat foods, which naturally contain water. If you are providing dry food, bear in mind that the reduced water content will mean that the amounts below will have to be roughly halved. When dry cat foods are fed, water must be freely available at all times.

Feeding your Kitten:

Age	Meals Per Day	Daily Ration
Weaning to 2 months.	4	50-100 grams (2-3½ oz)
2 to 4 months.	3	100-150 grams (3½-5 oz)
4 to 5 months.	2	200 grams (6½ oz)
Over 5 months.	2	200-300 grams (6½-10 oz)
