Lol..Teeny i dun think pets insurance got such thing. It's more like a Hospital/PA kinda policy that humans have. I used to be an agent. Hv a 4-month mini schnauzer, checking out the details at NTUC Income website now. Will post if got anything to contribute.

Dear all, have obtained some quotations regarding NTUC's Pet Insurance. There are basically 2 plans as follows:-

Benefits Plan A Plan B
1. Accidental death $500 $1,000
2. Veterinary fees $500 $1,000
3. Cremation/burial expenses $100 $200
4. Boarding expenses $500 $1,000
5. Recovery cost $100 $100
6. Third party liability $1,000,000 $1,000,000
Annual Premium (inclusive of 7% GST)
7. With microchip implant $101.65 $153.01
8. Without microchip implant $121.98 $182.97

Quotations

Species: Dog
Breed: Mini Schnauzer
Date of Birth: 15-09-2007
Sex: Male
Micro-chip Implant: Yes
Period of Insurance: 1yrs
Choice of Plan: A
Additional sum insured for accidental benefit: $0
Did your pet suffer from any disability, disease, illness, or receive treatment for any medical condition during the last 12 months? No
If yes, please give details: NIL

Estimated premium for your 1yr cover: $101.65
Estimated premium for your 3yrs cover: $259.21

Personally i find Veterinary Fees, Boarding Expenses and Cremation should be useful. Esp with high pet hospitalisation costs in Singapore that cud come up to a thousand, plus i travel at least once a yr. $259 for 3yrs is quite worth it. Dun think this is worth it for pets like hamsters, birds, bunnies.
