no worries, mine ALWAYS play chasing & popcorn..they will run around the cage, like flash, then when they bump into each other, they will jump jump hehe

i suspect your piggies have mites....when u say got "DUST", coz if real dust i dont think it is visible to the naked eye, unless u comb with toothbrush (like Jace) and your toothbursh dirty in the end. If it looks like it has been dusted/sprinkled with pepper/cinnamon powder........then i can confirm it IS mites :) :ladybug:

but u say after bathe is ok....maybe can observe whether they always scratch themselves excessively?

I agree... I can imagine is mites like what the other said... Cos mine, also a peruvian does not have this "dust" thingy... If like that, who wants to have long fur GPs liao?

the jumping around is normal...your pigs are just playing around..showing that they're happy animals. the 'dust' is not. it may be a case of mites.....like the rest said. or are you using wood shavings as bedding?

a mites Thread u might wana be interested to read...just a week back (http://www.pets.com.sg/forums/showthread.php?t=21527)

u can go read that thread...its recent and tell u different ways ppl treat mites on their GPs.

u can buy the spray or powder in most petshop, or vets will inject something and u need to go regular check up.... :raincloud
