Hey your cavies so mini tiny and cute! Hehe but the cage looks small to me? And the beddings... Are they woodshavings? The colour looks like it... Still short of Hay Rack... Got buy Hay for them? They need it 24 hours a day.

the one with white on her head is female while the full brown is the male. BTW they`re around 4mth old liao. But seem still not growing fast leh. Err... as for my cage.. i bought the grid from diaso .. actually learn from all those posted c&c cage.

Dont worry... By the way did you buy a weighing scale or already have it at home? You can weigh them to upgrade their process like whether they are increasing a not. If a drop in weight would probably mean they are sick... Too fat may result in obesity, its not healthy mah... Hows your cage doing? You may need to extend so your little piggies run freely... And yah did you separate them? Cos they are different gender...

Err... actually i intend to let the female have a one time birth first then after that i`ll separate them. My present cage is = 62.5cm x 62.5cm... is it ok ?

For your little piggies right now they barely can fit it, but they grow big easily, so soon or later you might have to extend it... For required cage space for cavies you can take a look at www.cavycages.com And please dont allow preganices happen... If you really wants to breed, you have to think whether you still can support their babies, and to accept the fact that it will endanger the sow's life... I hoped you can consider this carefully... Most forumers here will be unhappy if you want to breed for the sake of curiosity or for sale. Hope you will make your decision wisely.

No... i`m not breeding out of curiosity .. its because i read through all related post , stated if female gp reach the age of a year.. its will danger her life if give birth. thats why i intend to let her have a one time birth when she is stll capable of rather than when she can`t. When i both her, she around 2month old.. she have been staying with much older gp.. don`t know expecting already not. Thats why i have this in consideration.

BTW.. how big is your cage ?

My cage is consider small... Mine's only 3.5 feet. Yours is around 4.5 feet but for two cavies of yours is not enough.

u`re using what as the base ? i`m using coroplaste which i need to joint 2 into 1 for the base ..

i using scrape plastic.... mainly acrylic.... go to art friend at taka can get one piece 0.5 ft by 0.5 ft abt $6+++.... but i buy scrape de so cheaper... the mat is now stuck on....
