hi there welcome to the forum.
it looks like both of ur pigies got fungal infection...
do u check for mites? like small small dots on the fur? it would look like someone sprinkle pepper on it :p
if they have fungal infection, spraying anti-mite wont realli help. Must get those anti-fungus cream/powder. One of my GP also got balding near buttock. Medicate it with something one kind soul lent me, as her GP also kena fungus & have recovered. Now my infected pig already healed :) the fur grow back, the medication is one watery solution & a cream. :)
It is always preferred you go to the vet, but if you want anti-fungus cream they sold it in pharmacy "DAKTARIN" it is called...it was $15, so i think rather go to vet is recomended...besides got a doctor tend to your piggies, got medicine, and got profesional advices too :) :surfing:

I had that problem with Cocoa too, but on some days, she's good and will drink it all down.
Now she's ok but Cookie appears to have got fungus too... Darn! Its not flakes like on Cocoa but its bald patches on both her hind legs, with some rough skin underneath.
Looks like another trip to the vet for me!

Ya, its quite sian, cos this is also my busy period. But since I'm a piggy slave, no choice! Seriously, I also cannot bear to see them infected... There's something about their little piggy faces that does things to you :D
Was also thinking of getting daktarin powder first, cos my appt is this Fri evening. Will prob bring Cocoa along too, just in case. And also to let Dr Ling take a look at her teeth. They have grown back and she's eating normally, no drooling. But just wanna be sure.
I guess since some of us are using daktarin without problems (am afraid it might cause probs when the pigs lick that area), I'll go get some then.
