Better food for my piggies~

i am currently using Browns Encore pellets and Brown's Timothy Hay for my piggies...

they have no problem with Browns Encore pellets...they finish it all the time..including the coloured bits...

as for the hay...they makan the tender ones and leave the thicker ones alone..i did try to NOT top up their hay till they finish but i still notice quite an amount of thick hay left...

i would like to provide better for my piggies..any reconmendations on brands of pellets and hay for my babies??? :heartbeat

definitely u must switch to oxbow cavy cuisine (if ur piggies are already adults) if they are not then give them cavy perfomance and alfafa hay and mix w normal hay.i am using APD.

and dun throw vit c in the water, esp in tap water. Vit c is easily degraded by heat and is useless for ur pigs. BTW what is the amt of vit c per tablet? ur pigs need a certain amt of vit c per day (i think its 1.5mg/L for pigs less that 300g). Would recommend u to feed the vit c directly into the mouths of ur pigs. or else how would u know if they had enough vit c for that day? some more u put in water so need to weigh the dilution factor in.
