Hi,
i've noticed that my pigs dun drink much and i have to manually bring the bottle to them for them to drink sometimes...
is this normal?

how much should a pig drink on average a day?

hi ash, maybe your pig is still new & adjusting life there?
last time my pig when she is new to my home,
she also drink very little!!!
a 120cc or 120ml bottle....barely even a quarter tt she drank.

but now....wow they drink abt 300cc per day...

for me, even though sometimes i change the 'furniture' position, but the water bottle stays.....so water bottle is always on this fix corner of the cage :)

if u provide fresh veggy everyday, and they eat them, no need to worry too much if they nv drink water....coz veggy got water content. So wont be dehydrated...but of course, water must always be provided, be they drink more/less/none.

depends on the individual pig i guess. i've had pigs before who finished two bottles in a day...my bottle is a 150cc bottle so that would make 300cc in a day. and i think jace mentioned one of her pigs takes 50cc a day or sth...right now sydney finishes about 1 to 1.5 bottles of water in a day. ya if your pig gets fresh veges everyday it might drink a little bit less coz the veges have high water content. so not to worry :)
