not sure the exact scientific reasons..
i think its harmful to use flash lights on
babies/guinea pigs/pets/small animals too often..
what you think? come.. let's discuss! :D

errr back to topic....
i think maybe the flash light is glaring?
its like if human to see SUN directly...at long period
(i heard japanese soldiers tortured the chinese ppl last time in this way...till the prisoners go blind temporarily)

flash light as in auto "flash" in your camera..
yes.. its too bright for human beings..
so, same case for guinea pigs too..

tats y my pics are taken w/o flash on the pigs.... if need light... "borrow" frm the sky abit and some dim orange/white light... for better effect.... use white paper to reflect the light more on the pigs.... any professional photographers here can gib more tips??

experiment with angles? like from one angle the light might be blocked but from another it might not be :) tts one trick my dad taught me. but frankly i try not to take photos of my pig because she's normally running around like mad, so quite hard. and she actually doesn't like the camera much, except the string which she enjoys chewing.

if i tell u cad cad wun sit still one u believe?? usually to get a couple of nice shots i need to take abt 60 pieces
