Case of Cruelty to GP

I've a male gp now at my home who I guess is not going to live much longer all because of some irresponsible owners. Here's the story. Yest on Sat, my aunt called me & said that she found an abandoned gp in a cage at the lift lading. So she picked it up & brought home. Since she doesn't know what to feed it, she called me. She told me that the gp was in a very bad shape so I asked her to bring it over to my home. It was a pitiful sight. I'm not sure how old or what breed the gp is. It's soooo thin & sickly. It also stank. When I gave it hay & pellets, it didn't eat all till the next morning (today). I gave him a gd bath & force feed the critical care. He can't even swallow it. The nails were curved in & it lost some fur. I think he's even younger than my 3yr old gps. Now it's lying by its side in its cage. Oh ya it can't even stand on its own feet. Its too weak I guess. I really hope it'll get better & not pass away. I just wish to nurse it back to health. Some pet owners are too much.I can see that its owner neglected it for a long time. I asked my aunt to make a complaint to the town councils as it's not the 1st time. Prev, someone also abandoned 2 rabbits which my aunt also picked up & looked after. She later gave them away for adoption. So sad! anyway took some pictures of the gp.

gosh... cant believe pple can be so cruel & irresponsible.
hopefully it will get over the bad experience & be a happy GP again!
PS. I admire pple who foster abandoned animals. Double Thumbs Up for angelic8!!

Wat a nice gp!

I can't imagine how can these ppls abandon their pets just like tat!?!?

They think these pets r unwanted furnitures???!!! They're living things u noe!?!? Dun wants to take care, den dun brought them in the first place lah!!!

Must ask the government to set up a rule tat all pet owners who abandon pets must go to jail for 1 mth!!!

When i saw the pic of the poor gp, i feels so sad for it.

How can anyone be so cruel to such a lovely animal?! I thinks u better bring it to a vet to do a check up asap, dun be a vet yourself. Seriously, it looks really sick & weak to me.

i agree wif bluemoon abt gov doing something abt irresonpsible owner abandoning their pets.....they shld advise or even better...force all pet owners to micro-chip their pets so dat they can trace back the owners
