Default Urgent Urgent! Need Help! Puppy Stools Got Blood!

I have a 3 and a half mths silky terrier. got its third vaccination last thursday ( 3 nov ) . but i did not give it de-worm medicine as i tot it was unnecessary ( i am a first time owner) the vet also never say must give. however, today morning, it got a drop of blood coming out with the stools. the last drop of stool i mean. den subsequently, it had five or six more times of diarrhoa with an increased amt of blood. around five to six drops each time. i consulted alot of my friends and pet shop. they said it was worms so i bought the de-worm medicine at ard 7.30 pm and fed it at ard 7.45 pmtoday . however, the blood in the stools did not stop and i think the blood (5 to 6 drops is quite alot) i called up james tan the vet and his assistant said that it shld be fine for now and i should bring it to the vet tomorrow morning. i was confused that is it caused by worms in the stomach? or is it something else?is it normal? or is it an emergency that i should rush it to the vet right now. both the assistant of james tan and my friends said that it is ok. and if i am worried i can send him to the vet tomorrow. its is not life threatening since my puppy ate its dinner well and is active. is it ok to leave it till tomorrow? do i even need to bring it to the vet? is the bleeding normal in puppies? i need help as i am very anxious now... thanks alot..

Please, go to another vet.

Blood in stools is not a good sign.

Perhaps you'll like to try Namlys?

I'll start a thread on list of vets for you.
