Default do u feel yr gp tremble when bathing

it goes like this: i let my gp rest her paws on my arm and i can feel her trembling. she cant be cold cos i use warm water. is it normal? or is she just scared of shower? when i bath the other veteran gps at home, they dont tremble at all but instead enjoys the shower.

how do u wash yr gp's face? do u pour water from the head onto the face? or just splash splash with water? or only use a wet towel to wipe?

don't worry june, she's just scared. syd was like that the first few wet baths. and she might not like water... hence the nervous trembling. i wash sydney's face by wiping it with a wet towel. don't want to get water into her eyes, nose or ears.

I have this problem when bathing my GP face. His mouth fur stains have been bothering me since its yellowish, and I make use of the wet bath opportunity to make a small lather of shampoo on my fingers to rub on the stained fur, and use the shower head to spray on it. Hence I accidentally spray the whole face... And he choked on it before... Errr... Am I too violent...? I dunno if there is any good ways though, since the water must also contect with his mouth...

June20, I guess you GP is also scared... But if she doesnt tempted to escape, it wasnt difficult to bath her right? Haha...

At least all yours did was tremble .. my piggie tried to nibble my fingers during bath time to tell me she wanted OUT..then she jumped onto my lap scratching my leg as she scrambled to dry land(aka my lap) -_-

i bathe my pigs in my bathtub so if i leave it in a jiffy to take shampoo/towel..it wont run away coz the tub they wont be able to climb up...the paw has nothing to grab on and the drainage is the pop up type...so usually i pop close it.
Machi will wheek as it is scared to be alone...i bathe one by one coz if all put in the bathtub, all run here & there i also go mad haha

but i use shower to wet his body only (head no wet)...then shampoo it, then dip inside a small shallow plastic basin then use my hand to splash the water onto body, another hand holding under the tummy so it wont drown if struggle
